Shakira turned up the heat in her latest music video for the song Punteria, showcasing a variety of daring outfits that left fans feeling hot under the collar. The video dropped on Thursday, causing quite a stir among viewers.
In the video, the 47-year-old singer proudly flaunted her figure while performing her latest song, which will be included in her upcoming album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, scheduled to be out this Friday.
The singer, who recently opened up about her past relationship with Gerard Pique, was accompanied by Cardi B during her performance, with the rapper even delivering some of her lines in Spanish. During the show, a group of male centaurs, led by Lucien Laviscount from Emily In Paris, caught sight of the performer and were struck by an arrow fired by Shakira. Cardi B, lounging on a floating couch in a futuristic setting, flawlessly delivered her first verse while sporting a stunning dark gray dress that highlighted her curves. As the song progressed, Shakira changed into a pink cut-out bodysuit and sang alongside backup singers as the second chorus played out. Afterward, the singer wore a pink dress and joined a healed Laviscount in a giant flower setting, where they shared a tender moment. In the final chorus, Cardi B sang her lines while interacting with the centaurs, adding a playful touch to the performance. The video concluded with Shakira shooting an arrow into the distance, causing the centaurs to return to space.
The video started with Shakira belting out the song’s first lines, surrounded by bubbles and a backdrop of fluffy clouds. She was rocking a stylish cut-out bodysuit that showcased her toned arms and legs.
The artist then captured the attention of a herd of male centaurs, headed by Lucien Laviscount from Emily In Paris, only to be struck in the heart by an arrow launched by the singer of Hips Don’t Lie.
Cardi B, at the age of 31, kicked off the song by spitting her first verse while chilling on a floating sofa in the midst of a futuristic backdrop.
Laviscount’s character was led into a room where the singers and their entourage were gathered. The Colombian local tended to his wound, accompanying it with suggestive touches on his body.
After finishing the second chorus, Shakira switched it up and rocked a pretty pink cut-out bodysuit while sharing the stage with some backup singers.
Next, the vocalist switched into a stunning pink gown and was accompanied by a recovered Laviscount as they lounged in the center of a massive flower, exchanging tender gestures.
Cardi B started the last chorus of the song by crooning her lines as she tended to the needs of the other centaurs, cleaning and feeding them.
At the end of the video, Shakira capped things off by sending the centaurs back into outer space with an arrow. The singers recently discussed their collaboration in an interview with Billboard, where Me Gusta singer mentioned reaching out to the rapper for a potential collaboration. “We were debating whether to bring someone else on this track, and I always thought of Cardi. I contacted her, and here we are,” she shared. Cardi B expressed her excitement about working with Shakira, sharing that she had been looking forward to collaborating with her for a long time. “I always knew this day would come. And now that it’s here…I’m all in. Whether she wants me to purr like a cat, I’ll do it. I’m thrilled. This is a dream come true,” she exclaimed.
