Shakira turned heads in her sizzling ensembles in the recently dropped music video for her song Punteria, released just last Thursday.
In the video, the singer, who is 47 years old, flaunted her figure while performing the song from her upcoming album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which is scheduled to be released this Friday.
The singer, who recently opened up about her past relationship with Gerard Pique, was joined by Cardi B for a performance where the rapper impressed by rapping in Spanish. The show took an unexpected turn when a group of male centaurs, led by Emily In Paris star Lucien Laviscount, appeared and one got shot through the heart with an arrow by Shakira herself. Cardi B, known for her hit song Bodak Yellow, delivered her verse while chilling on a floating couch in a futuristic setting. She looked stunning in a shiny dark gray dress that highlighted her curvy thighs. Laviscount’s character was then taken to a hall where Shakira, a native of Colombia, tended to his wound in a sensual manner. After the second chorus, Shakira changed into a pink cut-out bodysuit and continued to perform with backup singers. She later changed into a pink dress and sat in a giant flower with a healed Laviscount, engaging in a tender moment. Cardi B took charge of the final chorus, caring for the other centaurs as they came back to life. The video ended with Shakira shooting an arrow into the distance, symbolically sending the centaurs back to space.
The video started with Shakira belting out the first lines of the song while gracefully floating inside a giant bubble surrounded by fluffy clouds. She looked stunning in a stylish bodysuit that showed off her toned arms and legs.
The artist then grabbed the attention of a pack of male centaurs, with Lucien Laviscount from “Emily In Paris” taking the lead. He was then shot in the heart with an arrow by the singer of “Hips Don’t Lie.”
At the age of 31, Cardi B kicked off her first verse of the track while chilling on a floating sofa in the center of a modern, space-like stage.
Once inside, Laviscount’s character was escorted by the singers and their entourage into the hall. As he nursed his wound, the woman from Colombia sensually caressed his body.
At the end of the video, Shakira took aim and fired an arrow into the distance, causing the centaurs to disappear into space. In a recent interview with Billboard, the singers discussed their collaboration on the track. Me Gusta singer shared that she had always envisioned having the rapper join her on the song and reached out to make it happen. Cardi B expressed her excitement at finally getting the chance to work with Shakira, revealing that it had been a long-time dream of hers. She eagerly agreed to join the project, no matter what was asked of her, as collaborating with Shakira was a dream come true for her.
